This piece was inspired by a photo I took of a very cool house with an awesome little garden and ring of trees in the courtyard. The way the ring of trees stood, I could imagine an otherworldly creature writhing up out of it. So I painted it. Trying to convey the idea that the house's inhabitants summoned the creature. Going for a Cthulhu feel. Hope you like it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
